Ever wonder what it takes to bring a live musical production featuring magnificent dolphins to life? The never-before-seen “Making of Dolphin Tales” documentary follows the enormous effort and teamwork it took to create and open Georgia Aquarium’s largest expansion to date – an 84,000 square foot building featuring four pools, two million gallons of man-made saltwater, an 1,800 seat theater and thrilling dolphin show. Get immersed in the construction, life support implementation & testing, actor auditions in New York, recording of the original musical score at the Sony Music studios in Los Angeles. Follow the team to Hawaii for animal training & transport, then back to Atlanta for the introduction of new behaviors to the dolphins and the flawless grand opening of the new exhibit and show. Following the documentary, an animal training team member will be on hand for a Q&A and photo opportunity.
Event Registration: This world premiere is Friday, May 11 at noon in Georgia Aquarium’s Oceans Ballroom Pacific Room and is free to Total Ticket visitors. Guests are encouraged to grab the kids and a snack from the Café Aquaria and enjoy learning what it takes to operate the world’s largest aquarium while building a $110 million expansion. Fernbank Museum is proud to be working with NBC New's Education Nation to provide free private access to the award-winning children’s exhibition Fernbank NatureQuest. This special opportunity will be available to a limited number of families to allow maximum enjoyment of the more than 100 opportunities to engage and interact within the exhibition. This all-new interactive experience will transform visitors into explorers, scientists and adventurers as they discover the many wonders of the natural world through hundreds of hands-on activities and immersive encounters.

The Atlanta Braves Backstage Pass allows fans to gain special access to Turner Field and get an intriguing glimpse into a side of the game beyond the diamond. This special access tour will begin in the Braves Museum & Hall of Fame at 4:00pm and last approximately one hour. Visitors will gain special access to the BravesVision Control Room to see the nerve center of the giant scoreboard in centerfield. In addition guests will learn the secrets of what goes into a day of big league field preparation that allow teams to play their best. Tour participants will also learn the history of the stadium, team and gain access to various areas including the clubhouse, Coca-Cola Sky Field, the press box, broadcast booth, dugout, Scout's Alley and the Braves Museum Store. Free parking is available in the Green Lot.
