In connection with the exhibition Read My Pins: The Madeleine Albright Collection, opening at the Denver Art Museum April 15, former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright will speak to Colorado high school students at the museum on Friday, April 13, for an informal on-stage conversation and Q&A session. This event is open to high school students only. Space is limited – 35 student spaces are reserved for this opportunity. The event is recommended for students studying contemporary affairs, civics, modern U.S. history and world history.

Join us for an exclusive tour of the Fashion Studio led by a Denver Art Museum educator, who will highlight this exciting space for visitors to explore their own creativity. Guests can experience the creative processes behind the fashion business with hands-on activities including fashion illustration, designing a dress on a dress-form, creating an inspiration board for an imaginary fashion collection or strutting their stuff on a real runway. Visitors can peruse materials and tools of the fashion trade, browse through the latest fashion magazines to see trends or sit down and watch a fashion video. Tour followed by a complimentary visit to Yves Saint Laurent: The Retrospective exhibition.
