LA's Teacher Town Hall
Education Nation //May. 15, 2011 // 11:39 AM

On Sunday, May 15th, NBC News brought together educators from across Los Angeles to talk about key issues facing schools, including the effect of budget cuts, how to evaluate teachers, solutions that are working for schools, and the importance of parent involvement. This two-hour event could be seen live on LA Nonstop, and we also streamed it here at EducationNation.com. NBC News' Rehema Ellis moderated the discussion with Telemundo 52's Azucena Gómez and NBC Channel 4's Chuck Henry and Kim Baldonado. L.A. teachers were also able to participate in a live webchat during the event. You can watch the full Los Angeles Teacher Town Hall online here.
