For Parents
The importance of a parent’s role in preparing children for school and life cannot be understated. Parents are their children's first teachers and primary support system from kindergarten through college.

Involved parents are also a critical contributor to the performance of successful schools, and can help create a supportive learning environment not only for their own children, but for the student community at large. On this page, we’ve assembled a list of resources to provide families with information about their local school system, as well as tools and organizations to help parents discover new ways to be engaged in their children’s education.
