For more than two decades, NBCUniversal’s Emmy award-winning “The More You Know” public service campaign has been raising awareness of the country’s most important social issues and motivating viewers to take action. This year, education is one of the four important topics that the multi-platform campaign focuses on.
While the broadcast version of “The More You Know” has traditionally featured some of best-known personalities from television, film and political life, this year the company is introducing an online extension that will highlight behind-the-scenes employees – ranging from producers to engineers and pages – discussing the positive influence that teachers have had on their lives.
This web-based PSA series will live on NBCUniversal Direct, the company’s corporate blog, and will be available as an embeddable video for education lovers everywhere to use on their own web sites.
